Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise and coordinate day-to-day water treatment operations across RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall and RAF Feltwell.
  • •Lead a team of four engineers by planning and scheduling workloads, supporting/mentoring team members, and performing quality checks.
  • •Ensure all planned and reactive work is completed safely and in full compliance with statutory requirements, company procedures, and contractual obligations.
  • •Manage work activities and maintain accurate maintenance records, compliance documentation, and asset information using PDA-based scheduling.
  • •Carry out statutory and preventative maintenance (cleaning, monitoring, disinfection), review RAMS and risk assessments, and identify defects for repair/maintenance decisions.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience in water treatment and water hygiene, including a recognised Legionella qualification.
  • •Strong understanding of ACOP L8, HSG274 and water hygiene legislation, including water hygiene compliance.
  • •Experience with chemical dosing and maintaining industrial water treatment systems.
  • •Experience supervising or leading an engineering team, managing workloads, monitoring performance, and delivering KPIs and SLAs.
  • •Sound Health and Safety knowledge (including COSHH and RIDDOR) plus a full UK driving licence and eligibility to obtain Security Clearance (SC).
