Job Summary

Design and optimize semiconductor and display manufacturing process solutions for targeted applications within the Front End Products (FEP) Applications team. Lead end-to-end process development from concept through lab validation and customer engagement, using DOE-based experiments and statistical analysis. Co-develop hardware and process strategies, support technology benchmarking, and troubleshoot engineering issues while generating technical documentation and mentoring junior engineers.

•Develop, optimize, and qualify process solutions for targeted applications, driving end-to-end development from concept through lab validation and customer engagement.
•Design and execute DOE-based experiments, perform statistical analysis, establish process-to-device correlations, and generate technical reports.
•Partner with hardware engineering to co-develop hardware and process strategies, including evaluating tool capabilities and supporting system characterization.
•Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customer teams to define application requirements, support benchmarking, and enable adoption of process solutions.
•Work cross-functionally across process, hardware, product engineering, and field/customer teams; document learnings and mentor junior engineers.

Salary: USD 163,000 - 224,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or Materials Science and Engineering (or related field).
•5–10+ years of experience in semiconductor process development and/or process integration.
•Strong expertise in DOE and statistical analysis.
•Strong experience with thin film, epitaxial, plasma, or thermal processes.
•Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
