Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, mentor, coach and develop the Fixed Plant team, providing regular performance feedback and performance in line with short-term objectives.
  • •Adhere to Rio Tinto standards, policies and procedures and provide leadership for safe execution of mechanical shutdown work at a site level.
  • •Manage daily maintenance activities to maximise productivity while minimising cost, rework and operational disruption.
  • •Prioritise break-in, emergent and opportunistic work while maintaining shutdown objectives and critical path focus.
  • •Provide frontline leadership and technical direction during shutdown execution, including mechanical troubleshooting, defect management, work pack execution, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, permits, isolations and safe work practices.
