Key Responsibilities

  • •Start each day at your delivery hub and head out on a route as part of a 2-person delivery crew.
  • •Load the lorry with deliveries with the warehouse team and drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle to customers’ homes.
  • •Install products efficiently and quickly, demonstrating how they work once installed.
  • •Be an ambassador for the John Lewis brand with great customer service and handle unexpected situations appropriately.
  • •Maintain a safe working environment and keep up to date with new products and technologies.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 29,500 - 41,100 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Manual C1 UK driving licence (maximum 6 points).
  • •DCPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) or Driver Qualification Card by the first day in the role, plus a Tachograph Card.
  • •Previous experience driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle.
  • •Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
  • •Great verbal communication skills and good understanding of technology.
