Key Responsibilities

  • •Size the total addressable market for AI compute, including buyers and consumers, and assess whether data center and power supply can support demand
  • •Build and maintain long-term forecasts for AI compute and power capacity demand using market dynamics, product mix, signed contracts, and renewal/churn assumptions
  • •Recommend the mix of colo, full owned builds, and Spark modular deployments against segments and demand profiles to inform capital allocation
  • •Develop and maintain a canonical pricing forecast model using signals like demand volatility, ramp timing, and supply-chain constraints, and track forecast accuracy
  • •Create financial cases for build-ahead vs. build-to-order tradeoffs and produce materials for CFO, Board, and executive audiences

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years in demand planning, supply/capacity planning, or quantitative finance, ideally in cloud infrastructure, data centers, semiconductors, or other capital-intensive businesses
  • •Strong financial modeling skills to build credible views of the market without perfect data
  • •Knowledge of statistical forecasting tools and techniques such as time series, regression, and scenario modeling
  • •Experience combining external market and competitive information with internal deal-level data
