Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise internal stakeholders to help inform and develop public policy positions aligned with the organization’s mission.
  • •Translate complex policy issues into advocacy strategies and execute federal policy campaigns across issue sets with diverse stakeholders and resources.
  • •Build and maintain relationships with Members of the Senate Republican conference through proactive, substantive engagement.
  • •Partner with federal affairs to share information, align strategy, and support integration with internal stakeholders across policy, communications, legal, and executive functions.
  • •Track execution against strategic objectives with measurable milestones and synthesize political dynamics into clear recommendations for leadership.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 265,000 - 295,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Experience working on policy within government or as a policy advocate, with demonstrated success winning legislative and regulatory outcomes in contested areas.
  • •Established relationships with key Senate policymakers and officials, with a track record of building substantive relationships.
  • •Strong policy drafting and analysis skills, including legislative/regulatory analysis, policy memos/position papers, and briefing materials for senior leadership.
  • •Experience executing multi-dimensional policy campaigns, including managing outside counsel, coalitions, third-party groups, and communications resources.
  • •Ability to translate strategic objectives into executable plans with clear milestones and measurable outcomes; based in or willing to relocate to Washington, DC.
Education:Bachelor's in A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
