Job Summary

Support back-office settlement operations for securities products, driving operational excellence across global markets. Verify trade details to ensure successful settlement, reconcile data across internal and third-party systems, and manage/escalate exceptions. Key Responsibilities

•Support back-office settlement activities for products including SBL, debt securities, and cash equities.
•Drive operational excellence by verifying trade details and preparing trades for settlement.
•Ensure system data reconciles with third parties and internal systems, and allocate/escalate exceptions to resolve discrepancies.
•Resolve fails and discrepancies with brokers, counter parties, and custodians; investigate and resolve cash and position breaks.
•Maintain operational controls, support audit and regulatory reviews, and handle cash settlements and margin calls.

Key Requirements

•At least 12 months in a supervisory role, including exposure to appraisals, team building, and staff development.
•Experience in Global Securities with proficiency supervising Debt securities, equities borrowing and lending, and equities settlements/trade processing across APAC and EMEA.
•At least 18 months of hands-on experience with a relevant securities background and knowledge.
•Ability to speak and understand English fluently and write business reports and letters.
•Should have strong analytical/data skills and be able to initiate process improvements; knowledge of contract comparison/SSI platforms like Alert, Equilend, and Pirum is an added advantage.
