Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure the plant operates safely and meets expected production needs for the automated bakery environment.
  • •Diagnose and troubleshoot machine control and electromechanical equipment issues, including PLC-related problems.
  • •Respond to line calls and complete corrective and preventative work orders as assigned.
  • •Maintain and manage work needs by using the maintenance inventory system and shop computer terminals to locate and check out parts.
  • •Follow all safety procedures and regulations (JSA, OSHA, EPA), and adhere to GMPs and food safety policies.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent plus trade school diploma/certificate or an Associate degree in a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
  • •8+ years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent education and experience.
  • •Advanced knowledge of industrial piping, electrical, welding, and fabricating to set up, modify, repair, and troubleshoot equipment.
  • •Ability to access and troubleshoot PLC/programmed control systems and other machine control components.
  • •Proficiency with computer programs such as SAP to document daily work and locate/check out parts.
