Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical leadership and construction management for projects, including supervision of inspection and testing activities.
  • •Manage, coordinate, and supervise projects per contract documents, plans, and applicable specifications.
  • •Verify and review project documentation for acceptance (pay applications, change orders, submittals, shop drawings, cost reduction proposals, traffic control modifications).
  • •Supervise, develop, and train construction inspectors, laboratory technicians, and other assigned construction support staff.
  • •Oversee field engineering and quality control/assurance, including monitoring concrete/steel/asphalt/soils testing, field measurements, quantity reports, daily inspector reports, and meeting/conference representation.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in a relevant field (e.g., Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Technology).
  • •Minimum of 7 years of directly relevant experience in roles such as Resident Engineer, Project Engineer, or related positions.
  • •Licensed professional engineer in New Mexico or ability to become licensed in NM within 3 months of hire.
  • •Ability to read and fully understand contract documents.
  • •Effective oral and written communication skills and working knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and materials.
