Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide effective, timely, and confidential services to families assessed as at risk for child maltreatment and/or family violence.
  • •Conduct screening, assessment, and referral procedures for developmental milestones, special needs, and risk/protective factors.
  • •Promote developmentally appropriate parenting skills, disciplinary techniques, and parent/child communication.
  • •Identify and report suspected child abuse/neglect and domestic abuse, and keep the case tracking system up to date.
  • •Connect families to information/referrals, parenting programs, respite care, supervised play time, and community/military networks.

Key Requirements

  • •At least two (2) years of direct work experience in child abuse or domestic abuse, or maternal/child health or medical social work.
  • •Hold a current and active license as an LCSW, LMFT or RN.
  • •Home visitation experience.
  • •Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
  • •Working knowledge of basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
