Job Summary

Join the Legal team to expand the commercial function by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial AI SaaS contracts and other technology and AI-related agreements. Partner with go-to-market, business, and cross-functional teams—including Engineering, Product, and Security—to support fast, efficient customer agreement execution. Also develop training and resources for sales and other teams in a fast-moving, AI-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Draft, review, and negotiate commercial AI SaaS contracts and other technology and AI-related agreements.
•Interface with go-to-market, business, and cross-functional teams to ensure fast, efficient execution of customer agreements.
•Provide training and develop resources supporting sales and other cross-functional teams.
•Support execution of agreements with customers served by the generative AI platform.
•Help expand the company’s commercial legal function in a small, growing team environment.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 210,000 - 265,000 annually

Equity and Bonus:Equity

Key Requirements

•A law degree from an accredited law school.
•Admitted to practice law and in good standing in at least one jurisdiction and able to practice in Illinois.
•10+ years of law firm and/or in-house experience.
•Transactional background with complex SaaS, technology, and/or IP licensing and commercial agreements.
•Ability to think creatively, function independently, and work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
