Job Summary

Lead the technical delivery of moderately complex multi-disciplinary road design projects within the SDF Roads team. Manage design teams across offices (London, Cambridge, Basingstoke, Guildford, Southampton) to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

•Taking ownership for the successful delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering projects on the framework.
•Managing and coordinating design teams and effectively communicating with all parties.
•Planning and monitoring the performance of projects throughout the project lifecycle.
•Ensuring all deliverables and milestones are achieved to cost/quality/time targets.
•Championing excellent health and safety practice, including safety in design and CDM compliance.

Key Requirements

•A University degree relevant to civil engineering, construction, design or related discipline.
•Ability to manage multiple design teams and coordinate across stakeholders.
•Excellent communication and collaboration skills with clients, peers and others involved in projects.
•Experience delivering multi-disciplinary engineering projects with focus on cost, quality and time targets.
•Knowledge of NEC contracts or similar (preferable but not essential).
