Senior Lease Accounting professional responsible for US GAAP/IFRS lease accounting across real estate portfolios, leveraging Oracle, CoStar and BlackLine to ensure accurate month-end close, journal entries, and compliance with SOX controls within a global shared services context.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure close process and reconciliations for leases are completed on a timely basis.
•Prepare complex monthly reconciliations and journal entries to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the financial statements.
•Pre-review abstracted financial data for new, modified and existing leases in Co-Star; pre-review amortisation schedules and standard journals from Co-Star.
•Pre-review sundry invoices for sublease income and list all leases for corporate filing requirements.
•Identify and implement changes that generate efficiencies and optimise existing systems (Oracle, CoStar, BlackLine) while exploring new technology opportunities.

Key Requirements

•CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification preferred.
•Minimum 3 years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 2 years of Leases experience and 1 year in a global organisation.
•Experience in operational compliance in shared services.
•Strong communication (English) and stakeholder management skills.
