Set up and operate a single-blade saw by reading production scheduling sheets, selecting required materials, and ensuring they meet specifications for grade, size, and moisture content. Perform setups and feeding according to requirements, regularly inspect equipment to maintain quality, and offload/stack finished components following procedures. Maintain a safe, clean work area, complete pre-shift inspections, perform preventive maintenance, and keep required production records while following safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Set up and operate a single-blade saw, reading production scheduling sheets to identify required materials.
•Ensure materials meet quality specifications (grade, size, moisture content) and check compliance for materials and finished products.
•Perform setups and feed material according to specifications, periodically checking equipment to maintain requirements.
•Offload and stack materials in accordance with established procedures, and complete covering/labeling/banding when required.
•Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area; complete pre-shift equipment inspection checklists, perform LOTO and preventive maintenance, and maintain production records.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
