Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and operate a single-blade saw, reading production scheduling sheets to identify required materials.
  • •Ensure materials meet quality specifications (grade, size, moisture content) and check compliance for materials and finished products.
  • •Perform setups and feed material according to specifications, periodically checking equipment to maintain requirements.
  • •Offload and stack materials in accordance with established procedures, and complete covering/labeling/banding when required.
  • •Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area; complete pre-shift equipment inspection checklists, perform LOTO and preventive maintenance, and maintain production records.
