Job Summary

Ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of Dark Matter Empower Loan Origination System (LOS) for a mortgage technology team. Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts; validate functionality across the full mortgage lifecycle; and perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT. Analyze requirements, track defects in tools like Jira/Azure DevOps/HP ALM, verify third-party LOS integrations, and support regulatory compliance testing and release validation.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Empower LOS enhancements, configurations, integrations, and upgrades.
•Validate Empower LOS functionality across the full mortgage loan lifecycle, including application, processing, underwriting, closing, funding, and post-closing.
•Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing to verify business requirements and configuration changes.
•Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using defect management/test management tools and coordinate resolution with partners.
•Validate third-party integrations (e.g., POS, credit vendors, pricing engines, compliance services, document management) and support regulatory compliance testing (TRID, RESPA, HMDA, CFPB).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
•5-7 years in Quality Assurance and Testing, including 3+ years hands-on testing of Dark Matter Empower LOS.
•Strong knowledge of the mortgage lending lifecycle (origination through post-closing).
•Experience with functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
•Working knowledge of mortgage compliance and regulatory requirements (TRID, RESPA, HMDA, CFPB).
