Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the benefits infrastructure strategy and drive the near-term integrations and long-term unification across Remote’s benefits and payroll ecosystems.
  • •Drive the roadmap for connecting to carriers, third-party administrators, benefits platforms, and customers’ HR systems, including where to build deeper integrations and consolidate or offboard partners.
  • •Lead complex cross-functional integration delivery, including migrating benefit costs to unified payroll and standing up retirement plan administration.
  • •Own test planning, end-to-end validation, and go-live readiness for benefits migrations, and manage end-to-end activation for new countries and partners.
  • •Own data integrity and act as the escalation point for benefit-cost data incidents; enable compliance monitoring and partner lifecycle management.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience as a product manager owning complex third-party integrations (API and file/EDI-based).
  • •A provider-agnostic mindset for ingesting customer reality (broker, carrier, HRIS) and anticipating future needs.
  • •Proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code, with the ability to autonomously build, debug, and ship functional code/prototypes.
  • •Comfort designing for systems and humans, thinking in APIs and agent-facing tooling—not just dashboards.
  • •Strong async written communication to drive alignment across Engineering, Payroll Operations, Finance, Partnerships, and Legal.
