Key Responsibilities

•Provide high‑level technical guidance for substation design across multiple sites and phases, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and utility requirements.
•Coordinate, review, and approve substation electrical design plans, preparing technically sound documentation for procurement and construction.
•Apply advanced electrical engineering techniques to identify improvements across project phases from concept to construction support.
•Oversee substation physical layout and protection & control design work, including one‑/three‑line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and grounding design.
•Develop plans, specifications, and cost estimates for substation projects, coordinating with owners, disciplines, subconsultants, and clients.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
•7 to 10 years of relevant post‑education experience delivering design deliverables for transmission and distribution substations.
•Professional Engineer (PE) license.
•Proficient with electrical engineering principles, practices, processes, and design/build project delivery.
•Experience with substation physical design and/or protection and control (P&C) engineering.
