Key Responsibilities

  • •Create quotes for service agreements and quoted works supporting Service Account Managers and Controls Service Account Managers.
  • •Prepare cost estimates covering materials, subcontractors, purchased equipment, labor, and other construction-related activities for bids and pricing decisions.
  • •Develop detailed scope and cost estimates from Account Managers’ design-build scope, including system sketches, scope definition, and exclusions.
  • •Perform take-off and pricing of purchased equipment to ensure accuracy of quantity, size, configuration, voltage, and options.
  • •Identify cost-saving opportunities and risks; develop subcontractor scope and negotiate vendor/subcontractor quotes; participate in pre-bid meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or Associate's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or related field preferred.
  • •At least 1-3 years of related estimating experience, or 5 years HVAC Technician experience.
  • •Working knowledge of construction facets including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • •Preferred financial and business acumen with experience keeping projects on time and on budget.
  • •Ability to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
