Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct thorough on-site vehicle condition inspections and document findings according to Manheim standards.
  • •Verify vehicle identification details (VINs, mileage, sub-series, options) and ensure accurate system entry.
  • •Inspect and document exterior, interior, and basic mechanical components, including damage and inoperable features.
  • •Build trust with dealer clients, engage proactively to increase inspection volume, and adapt to changing schedules.
  • •Prepare daily activity/production reports, use Salesforce.com for reporting and tracking, and collaborate with internal teams to support continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED (Level 1); or high school diploma/GED plus 3+ years in a related field (Level 2); or high school diploma/GED plus 5+ years and previous vehicle inspection experience (Senior Level).

  • •Strong automotive knowledge (body and mechanical) required for Senior Level.
  • •Ability to meet physical and mental demands within required timeframes.
  • •Ability to safely move and handle vehicles on dealer lots while accurately documenting condition data.
