Job Summary

Join WSP’s industry-leading Geotechnical and Tunnels team in Perth, advising on complex geotechnical issues across transport, energy, water, mining, property, and government projects. Lead and manage geotechnical field investigations, deliver best-practice consulting, and produce and review technical reports. Contribute to safety hazard identification, participate in industry groups, mentor engineers, and support stakeholder engagement and proposal development.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical advice on complex geotechnical issues and deliver best-practice consulting services.
•Manage and deliver geotechnical field investigations across a wide range of sectors.
•Manage, analyze, and carry out geotechnical reporting for projects.
•Provide safety leadership by identifying and alleviating/eliminating high-priority safety hazards.
•Participate in training, mentor engineers, support tenders/proposals/reports, and guide stakeholder engagement activities.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•Have a civil engineering or engineering geology degree.
•Demonstrate proven geotechnical engineering experience, with geotechnical consulting experience considered favourably.
•Undertake and manage geotechnical field investigations for small to large projects, including soil and rock logging.
•Prepare/review written technical reports and support client communications.
•Provide geotechnical design experience, including rock/soil/structure interaction.

Education:Bachelor's in civil engineering or engineering geology
