Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and on schedule while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver trucks and trailers into loading and unloading areas; follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading goods and materials and return equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain signed invoices and shipping paperwork (including bills of lading) and deliver documentation when routes are complete.

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold a Class A CDL (or chauffeur’s license depending on state) appropriate for the vehicle weight being operated.
  • •Must pass background and drug testing per federal and/or state DOT regulations.
  • •Must pass a DOT physical since trucks driven are over 10k lbs.
  • •Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
  • •Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds and travel frequently.
