Build financial models and cost projections for total rewards programs, partnering with Total Rewards, FP&A, and Payroll to analyze financial impact, variances, and approvals before implementation. Lead compensation cycle administration and compensation event execution (merit, market adjustments, pay equity, promotion and progression). Conduct market research, recommend data-driven compensation and global vehicle program improvements, and present summary reports and forecasting to support the total rewards strategy.

Key Responsibilities

•Finalize projected costs versus budget for total rewards programs by interfacing with FP&A and Payroll to communicate variances and obtain approval.
•Prepare financial models for total rewards programs, including base and variable compensation for analysis and decision support.
•Improve internal processes to strengthen operational efficiency and mitigate risk to total rewards initiatives across Hootsuite.
•Consult and administer annual compensation cycles by developing procedures, documentation, reports, and communication tools.
•Implement compensation events (annual merit, market adjustment, pay equity, promotion and progression) in collaboration with the People Partner and Total Rewards team.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 78,400 - 109,800 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in compensation, total rewards, data, or financial analysis (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
•Build financial models and analyze data/performance, particularly using Excel/Google Sheets and corporate performance management tools.
•Extremely organized with exceptional attention to detail.
•Use an organized, logical approach to solve complex problems and identify root causes.
•Manage processes and timelines to get work accomplished.
