Oversee end-to-end product development for assigned apparel items, coordinating with US HQ and Vietnam partners to drive sampling, costing, and commercialization. Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate closely with stakeholders in US HQ and locally to drive development, sampling, costing, etc of assigned products.
•Manage the feasibility, completeness and clarity of specs by liaising with upstream partners in HQ.
•Review specs with vendors considering use, cost, materials, and manufacturability; provide feedback to HQ.
•Lead the development process to create high quality prototypes addressing function, aesthetics, cost and manufacturability; provide options for improvement.
•Review, analyze and validate vendor cost information; ensure compliance to cost standards and timelines.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•University degree.
•3 to 5 years of experience in merchandising, development, manufacturing, or related field or combination of equivalent education and related experience.
•Good knowledge of textiles and apparel development.
•Fluent in English (written and verbal communication).
•Ability to travel via air or car to visit vendors across Vietnam.
