Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, replace, and test electric meters that monitor electricity flow into homes or businesses.
  • •Change out older meters and replace them with digital meter equipment using electrical skills.
  • •Troubleshoot defective or problematic meters and perform testing while in the field.
  • •Calibrate meters in the field using the proper tools.
  • •Adhere to safety policies and regulatory requirements, including hazard and risk assessments; travel throughout Ontario and interact with local utility customers.

Salary: 32.14 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent (Grade 12 education).
  • •Valid G driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
  • •Customer-required background verification checks must be completed and approval maintained.
  • •Prior experience in residential electric meter installation or proficiency as a meter reader.
  • •Ability to work independently and thrive in diverse outdoor environments.
