Job Summary

Assist in daily operations of a concrete ready-mix plant by helping maintain equipment, cleaning, and loading/unloading materials. Support batching and mixing, monitor plant equipment, perform routine maintenance, and inspect/report defects. Follow OSHA/MSHA and company safety procedures, wear required PPE, and help ensure environmental compliance. Participate in safety training, assist with sampling/testing for concrete quality, support inventory management, and assist drivers as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Strictly adhere to safety requirements and procedures per company policy and OSHA/MSHA regulations.
•Assist in batching and mixing ready-mix concrete.
•Help with loading and unloading materials (including sand and gravel) and assist with sampling/testing of materials.
•Operate light equipment such as forklifts and loaders; monitor plant equipment to ensure proper function.
•Perform routine maintenance/cleaning, maintain cleanliness at the plant site, and help with inventory management and reporting defects.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED.
•Previous related experience in the construction field is a plus.
•Previous experience in construction, concrete, or manufacturing is preferred but not required.

•Basic understanding of plant safety and strong attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures.
