Key Responsibilities

  • •Set testing standards by developing testing protocol templates for specific materials and products based on manuals and brand requirements.
  • •Ensure proper testing procedures are followed in development and bulk production testing according to standard requirements.
  • •Ensure suppliers/vendors submit complete test reports and that all test requests are tracked and completed in VF’s testing system.
  • •Review bulk production test reports, provide technical comments and risk assessments, and follow up with vendors and internal teams in case of testing failure.
  • •Manage root-cause analysis and corrective action planning, oversee final approvals based on testing results, and manage country-specific certificates of conformity.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of experience in consumer product testing.
  • •BS degree in a technical field such as Textile science, Engineering, or testing is desirable.
  • •Apparel and footwear material and product testing experience.
  • •Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • •Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences (proficient communicator).
