Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead advanced AI research and integrate findings into business capabilities across graph-based methods, reinforcement learning, transformer-based models, tabular foundational models, and causal modeling.
  • •Develop and implement sequence-based foundational models for event streams such as customer actions and transaction histories.
  • •Partner with business and technology/infrastructure teams to ensure solutions are flexible, secure, cost-effective, and compliant with enterprise standards.
  • •Translate research outcomes into production-ready platforms, tools, and capabilities adopted at scale across the enterprise.
  • •Present and communicate research findings to senior leadership and contribute to AI Labs team culture focused on innovation.

Key Requirements

  • •Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Physics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent work experience).
  • •Expertise in machine learning and statistical modeling for supervised and unsupervised learning, including transformer/attention-based architectures and deep learning for structured sequential and graph data.
  • •Exceptional programming skills in Python and Spark (C/C++ and Java knowledge preferred).
  • •Expertise with GPU-accelerated ML workloads, high-performance computing, and advanced optimization techniques.
  • •Strong knowledge of hybrid-cloud AI/ML infrastructure (e.g., Google Cloud Vertex AI, BigQuery, Dataproc) and data technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and Hive.
