Control Room Operator

Monitor and manage traffic incidents from a Traffic Management Center, using intelligent transportation system devices and an advanced transportation management software to detect, verify, and track incidents. Coordinate with response agencies and first responders, dispatch crews, and communicate impacts to stakeholders via digital message signs, websites, social media, and media outlets. Ensure incident logging, equipment-failure reporting, and lane closure/diversion coordination in a 24/7/365 rotating shift environment in Omaha.
