Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform MTF (Maintenance Test Flight), FTF (Functional Test Flight), and MOC (Maintenance Operational Checks) on customer MH-47G series aircraft.
  • •Conduct testing using ground and in-flight diagnostic test equipment.
  • •Proficiently fly rotary-wing helicopters and demonstrate instrument task proficiency during annual flight evaluations.
  • •Complete required annual flight evaluations with an Instructor Pilot (IP) and Maintenance Test Flight Evaluator (MTFE).
  • •Ensure required Aircrew Training Manual (ATM) tasks for assigned flight duties are accomplished (non-tactical base tasks).
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified in the MH-47G or CH-47F aircraft MDS.
  • •Minimum combined 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command time, including at least 100 hours in MH-47G or CH-47F.
  • •At least 50 hours logged as a Maintenance Test Pilot on MH-47G or CH-47F.
  • •Graduates of the AMOC I and II course; maintain a current FAA Class 2 Flight Physical and an instrument rating on FAA Commercial Certificates.
  • •Possess or can obtain an Active Secret Clearance (interim secret required to start) and be a U.S. citizen.
