Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead construction activities for utility power infrastructure supporting large-scale and hyperscale data center developments.
  • •Manage and report on project scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, and energization milestones from design review and preconstruction through final turnover and close-out.
  • •Develop construction execution strategies tied to schedule milestones and required energization dates.
  • •Oversee construction oversight for gas-fired power generation plants, high-voltage substations/transmission, medium-voltage distribution, switchgear, transformers, protective relays, SCADA integration, utility interconnections, and emergency/fuel systems.
  • •Serve as single point of contact; coordinate vendor/provider performance and compliance, manage meeting cadence and action items, review pay apps/change orders/invoices, and ensure compliance with OSHA/NFPA 70E/NEC/NESC/IEEE and utility requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of construction management experience, including 5+ years managing utility infrastructure and medium/high-voltage electrical systems or power generation-related infrastructure.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related technical field (or equivalent relevant industry experience).
  • •Experience delivering power generation, utility infrastructure, mission-critical, or data center projects.
  • •Strong knowledge of power generation plants, transmission infrastructure, substations, and medium/high-voltage electrical distribution systems.
  • •Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and applicable standards including NFPA 70E, NEC, NESC, and relevant IEEE standards.
