Job Summary

Join Akamai’s Object Storage team as a Senior Software Engineer II to help design and build highly reliable, scalable storage solutions for Linode. You will work with a small team on a high-impact project, designing systems that scale and shaping the next generation of cloud tooling, in an Agile environment.

Key Requirements

•Proven professional experience in Go.
•Demonstrate relevant experience and education in Computer Science or a related field.
•Solid experience building high-performance, reliable systems (profiling, concurrency, memory/latency optimisation, and performance debugging).
•Have shipped production software end-to-end, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, triage, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
•Show proven experience in designing and improving complex distributed systems, particularly with performance-critical system development expertise.
