Job Summary

Provide high-level mechanical engineering guidance for building and infrastructure projects across due diligence, design, construction, testing, and inspection. Lead technical work involving automatic temperature control, air distribution, hydronic and plumbing systems, and ensure designs meet codes, permits, and industry standards. Develop plans, specifications, cost estimates, and safety/phasing plans, create technical documentation and visualizations, and coordinate with cross-functional teams, owners, and regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities

•Collect, compile, and analyze site, survey, and technical drawing data to support project development, design, and construction.
•Apply mechanical engineering techniques to improve mechanical systems across concept, design, procurement, construction, and operations.
•Develop construction/installation plans, specifications, and cost estimates, including construction safety and phasing plans.
•Oversee and monitor cross-functional engineering and planning teams across concurrent projects, including budgeting, tracking hours/expenses, and technical calculations.
•Prepare technical reports and visualizations; coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure code compliance and risk mitigation.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline.
•7 to 10 years of relevant post-education engineering experience with prior mechanical design experience.
•Engineer license required.
•Proficiency applying mechanical engineering principles and design/build practices to project work-related issues.
•Ability to plan and conduct inspections and investigations and ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and permits.
