Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop firmware IP subsystems for SSD products to meet or exceed technical specification requirements across performance, endurance, capacity, functionality, and quality/reliability.
  • •Create firmware unit and functional tests to verify that firmware subsystems meet quality, functional, and performance requirements at integration milestones.
  • •Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work while complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
  • •Communicate effectively with management, multi-functional team members, and the firmware team with detailed updates and project status.
  • •Troubleshoot and debug firmware applications and modify code using embedded systems and hardware/software operating knowledge.

Key Requirements

  • •Masters or Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or computer engineering.
  • •Experience with firmware/embedded programming (primary C programming) and debugging.
  • •Experience working with storage interfaces, ideally PCIe/NVMe.
  • •Experience working with NAND is an advantage.
  • •2+ years of embedded systems development experience is an advantage.
