Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using Golang microservices in a cloud-native environment.
•Solve complex backend challenges including reducing operational costs, optimizing performance, and improving payment processing efficiency.
•Lead multi-team, multi-quarter initiatives across distributed systems, API design, and database optimization.
•Improve system reliability and scalability for payment systems using cloud infrastructure best practices, monitoring, and alerting.
•Mentor engineers, drive engineering excellence, and lead technical migrations and rollouts with clear communication.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of backend engineering experience with deep expertise in Go and strong familiarity with languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, or C#.
•Experience designing and building scalable distributed systems using microservices architecture.
•Proficiency with inter-service communication protocols including REST, gRPC, protobufs, and message queues like NSQ or Kafka.
•Expertise in relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and system optimization strategies.
•Strong experience with cloud environments (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure acceptable) plus containerization, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm).
