Job Summary

Design, build, and operate distributed infrastructure for reliable, observable, scalable real-time services. You’ll work on production Kubernetes clusters, autoscaling, CI/CD foundations, incident debugging, and disaster recovery. Collaborate with product and backend teams to optimize resource usage and performance—especially around ClickHouse—while reducing operational burden through repeatable systems and strong monitoring. This is an operations-focused engineering role with coding and data/SQL exposure.

•Enhance high availability and elasticity so the system scales automatically and efficiently without manual intervention.
•Improve observability with telemetry, dashboards, alerting, and long-term visibility into system health.
•Handle Kubernetes lifecycle work including cluster infrastructure management, autoscaling, and safe deployments.
•Optimize ClickHouse performance and improve bottlenecks across storage, networking, and compute.
•Strengthen CI/CD, incident prevention, and disaster recovery while improving on-call operations and response to reliability issues.

Key Requirements

•Strong experience designing, building, and running distributed cloud architectures and large-scale web-based production systems.
•Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, including operating production-grade clusters and tuning autoscaling mechanisms for real-time workloads.
•Skilled in AWS and GCP and able to work close to production to debug incidents and improve reliability.
•Coding skills to explore the codebase and work with Python (primary) and some C++.
•SQL/data curiosity, including experience querying data and an interest in ClickHouse and launching database systems at scale.
