Job Summary

Join the Technical Services team and help keep Motiongate Dubai rides and facilities running safely and reliably. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, servicing, repairs, and overhauls; conduct daily safety checks; troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime; and ensure hazards are identified and addressed. The role includes maintaining accurate maintenance records, coordinating with supervisors and vendors, and supporting planned maintenance and testing activities across flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform preventive maintenance, servicing, repairs, and overhauls on rides, attractions, equipment, and facilities according to manufacturer specifications and park standards.
•Conduct daily safety checks and inspections to ensure rides and attractions operate safely and efficiently.
•Troubleshoot technical issues and respond to maintenance-related calls to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.
•Support safe equipment operation by identifying hazards, reporting issues, and ensuring repairs are completed safely.
•Maintain accurate maintenance records and coordinate with supervisors, teams, vendors, and manufacturers; assist with spare parts, technical adjustments, and planned maintenance/testing activities.

Key Requirements

•Relevant technical qualification such as a High School Diploma in Engineering, with additional certifications, training, licences, or upgrades in mechanical/electrical engineering.
•Strong technical knowledge and hands-on ability in electrical and mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics, plus safe repair practices.
•Experience in technical environments, preferably theme parks, rides and attractions, building facilities, plant operations, system integration, or similar maintenance settings.
•Safety-focused mindset: follow HSE standards, identify hazards, and work calmly and safely around guests and team members.
•Good communication and teamwork skills with flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, holidays, and at heights.
