Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with Group Finance, BU Finance, and data/analytics teams to identify and refine Databricks use cases (finance data pipelines, advanced analytics, scenario analysis, data products).
  • •Gather and challenge business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for Databricks solutions.
  • •Determine which requirements should be implemented on Databricks versus other platforms (SAP, Anaplan, BI tools) per the Finance technology strategy.
  • •Define and document Finance processes that rely on Databricks, including reporting data preparation, modelling workflows, and analytics.
  • •Translate needs into user stories and acceptance criteria, define test cases, coordinate UAT, and support defect resolution while keeping initiatives aligned with the target Finance technology and data architecture.
