•Conduct ongoing process assessments and map end-to-end workflows to identify streamlining opportunities and reduce cycle times.
•Partner with departments (including training) to perform gap analysis, coordinate application release impacts, and assist with job aids.
•Improve user experience with Encompass by implementing permanent fixes and evaluating automation opportunities using AI/robotics/machine learning.
•Manage vendors, address reporting needs, and lead user acceptance testing on applications.
•Identify process risks related to HMDA, CFPB, and TRID, and present trends and opportunities for management meetings while acting as a liaison to BSA/BI.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of related experience in process analysis, process ownership, or similar work.
•High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
•Intermediate knowledge of the residential mortgage industry (correspondent or retail lending), including sales, operations, and/or capital markets.
•Entry-level knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules, and industry standards.
•Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Excel VBA, plus experience with mortgage software (Encompass).
