Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the operations and continuous improvement of the RWD curation pipeline, including evaluating and integrating AI/agentic workflows.
  • •Create a multi-year strategy for acquisition, management, curation, and use of RWD to support regulatory submissions, clinical evidence generation, HEOR, and commercial efforts.
  • •Architect, build, and maintain a scalable RWD platform and pipeline to ingest, link, harmonize, and curate large real-world datasets.
  • •Oversee translation of raw RWD into research-ready, regulatory-grade datasets using OMOP or other industry-standard models for RWE generation.
  • •Directly lead and develop the RWD Informatics team (clinical informaticists and data analysts) and manage department budget and operating cadence.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 236,300 - 335,475 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • •At least 12 years of progressive clinical informatics experience with RWD sources (structured and unstructured) and molecular data, including applying RWD to device/therapeutic/software product development and across multiple disease areas (oncology).
  • •At least 10 years building and leading high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • •Experience leading data modeling, terminology normalization, data curation, and/or unstructured data abstraction via natural language processing (NLP).
  • •Experience with Python, R, and/or SQL, plus deep knowledge of health-payer ontologies (ICD-10, HCPCS, CPT, LOINC, RxNorm).
