Job Summary

Assist clients with the origination of residential mortgage loans by analyzing needs, advising on mortgage options, and driving qualified referrals to grow home lending business. Originate and process family real estate mortgage transactions following Home Lending process and product guidelines. Serve as primary point of contact through closing, maintain sales system proficiency, control workflows, and uphold client satisfaction and loan quality while staying current on market and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

•Prospect for home lending business to build new client loan originations and relationships.
•Originate and process a targeted number of family residential real estate mortgage transactions according to guidelines.
•Provide clients with detailed information about mortgage options, interest rates, and terms to support informed decisions.
•Gather required documents at loan registration and serve as the primary point of contact through the loan process.
•Maintain client satisfaction and loan quality while staying proficient in sales/originator systems and workflows.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 15.5 hourly

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience as a loan officer in 1st mortgage production (preferred).
•3+ years working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, TIL regulations, and related requirements (preferred).
•Working knowledge of Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), RESPA regulations, and local/state real estate and finance laws (preferred).
•Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience (preferred).
•Excellent communication and strong customer service skills.
