Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate commercial vehicles for local and short-haul dedicated routes from the Rocket Motor Systems facility in McHenry.
  • •Safely transport dangerous goods and non-DG materials on and off site, including chemicals, hazardous substances, and rocket motor components.
  • •Perform thorough pre-trip, post-trip, and en-route vehicle and cargo inspections per DOT, FMCSA, and company standards.
  • •Ensure shipments are properly packaged, marked, labeled, placarded, and documented in accordance with 49 CFR and company requirements.
  • •Load/unload vehicles, secure loads, respond to emergencies/spills, and maintain accurate logs and required documentation.

Salary: USD 46,000 - 61,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with Hazardous Materials (H) endorsement.
  • •Minimum 5+ years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
  • •Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
  • •Ability to pass DOT medical examination and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening.
  • •Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.
