Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership to manufacturing personnel to ensure safe, high-quality production and service-level performance while meeting cost improvement goals.
  • •Assess manufacturing health (capacity, workforce, throughput, bottlenecks) and develop workforce/production line plans for satellite production and flight programs.
  • •Develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives, including transitioning hardware builds from LRIP to higher-rate production and to different manufacturing locations.
  • •Manage, with team leads, manufacturing engineers and technicians across avionics and electro-mechanical and environmental testing to support component production and integration.
  • •Support proposals, implement AS9100 quality practices, manage manufacturing OH/process improvement and capital budgets, and communicate production status to personnel.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or related field.
  • •15+ years’ experience in manufacturing and/or engineering disciplines (manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, test, materials, and process engineering) in aerospace, automotive, or commercial industries.
  • •Subject-matter expertise in harnessing, printed circuit board assemblies, structural assembly, structural bonding, mechanisms, or composite honeycomb machining.
  • •High proficiency in MRP/ERP systems.
  • •Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance requiring U.S. citizenship.
