Key Responsibilities

  • •Start up and commission new systems, diagnose, and repair environmental-control systems using HVAC and Controls knowledge.
  • •Serve as direct customer contact and service products/equipment at customer locations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • •Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site installation and repair requirements by forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
  • •Stay current on Trane products across installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems.
  • •Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma (or equivalent) and typically 3-5 years of experience in HVAC/Controls; Technical School or formal training is preferred.
  • •Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with handheld computers (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent violations, including specified offenses in the prior 3 years.
  • •Previous experience with DDC (direct digital control) systems is preferred.
  • •EPA is preferred.
