Key Responsibilities

  • •Resolve technical or complex network escalations using standard and non-standard solutions across programs.
  • •Oversee and manage major network projects, ensuring technical designs and network changes are reviewed and properly executed.
  • •Identify systemic inefficiencies and drive measurable performance improvements through root-cause analysis and integration of best practices.
  • •Provide Tier 3/4 escalation support and lead deep technical troubleshooting across routing, switching, firewalls, segmentation, encryption devices, WAN circuits, and secure communications.
  • •Provide leadership through mentoring and technical guidance, and drive creation/refinement of SOPs, processes, and technology innovations.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a university degree (or equivalent) and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree and minimum 7 years experience.
  • •Active and transferable U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility.
  • •Experience as a network engineer for classified, enterprise-class Cisco-based LAN/WAN with deep Layer 2 and Layer 3 expertise.
  • •Experience with boundary protection technologies (preferably Palo Alto).
  • •Certification meeting 8570 IAT Level III or 8140 Advanced for Network Operations Specialist (e.g., CCNP Security, CISSP, or CASP+) and professional/expert-level Cisco certification (e.g., CCNP or CCIE).
