Key Responsibilities

•Resolve technical or complex network escalations using standard and non-standard solutions across programs.
•Oversee and manage major network projects, ensuring technical designs and network changes are reviewed and properly executed.
•Identify systemic inefficiencies and drive measurable performance improvements through root-cause analysis and integration of best practices.
•Provide Tier 3/4 escalation support and lead deep technical troubleshooting across routing, switching, firewalls, segmentation, encryption devices, WAN circuits, and secure communications.
•Provide leadership through mentoring and technical guidance, and drive creation/refinement of SOPs, processes, and technology innovations.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a university degree (or equivalent) and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree and minimum 7 years experience.
•Active and transferable U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility.
•Experience as a network engineer for classified, enterprise-class Cisco-based LAN/WAN with deep Layer 2 and Layer 3 expertise.
•Experience with boundary protection technologies (preferably Palo Alto).
•Certification meeting 8570 IAT Level III or 8140 Advanced for Network Operations Specialist (e.g., CCNP Security, CISSP, or CASP+) and professional/expert-level Cisco certification (e.g., CCNP or CCIE).
