Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage hydraulic and hydrological engineering projects from conceptualization to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • •Research, analyze, and design/optimize hydraulic and hydrological systems for water supply, wastewater, stormwater, and river engineering.
  • •Perform hydraulic and hydrological modelling and simulations to predict performance, identify issues, and propose solutions.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop detailed designs, technical specifications, and construction plans with environmental considerations.
  • •Conduct site visits/inspections and prepare reports and documentation for stakeholders, clients, and regulatory bodies; provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •In-depth knowledge of hydraulic and hydrological engineering principles, practices, and methodologies.
  • •Proficiency with hydraulic and hydrological modelling software (e.g., Mike Plus, MIKE SHE, HEC RAS, Inforworks ICM, SewerGems, ArcGIS, SWMM).
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Hydrology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • •Minimum 8 years of experience delivering hydraulic and hydrological engineering projects.
  • •Professionally qualified (e.g., Chartered Engineer from ICE-UK) or progressing towards Chartership (e.g., CIWEM).
