Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and maintain end-to-end software architecture and a technical roadmap for distributed and edge computing across ground, cloud, and onboard environments.
  • •Collaborate with customers and engineering teams to translate operational needs, constraints, and objectives into architectural specifications and solutions.
  • •Design secure, scalable, resilient, and resource-efficient systems for challenging environments, including limited resources, reduced connectivity, high latency, and autonomous operation.
  • •Lead architectural studies, trade-off analyses, prototypes, benchmarks, and proof-of-concepts to evaluate performance, resilience, portability, security, interoperability, and operational suitability.
  • •Maintain architecture baselines and technical documentation (e.g., C4 Model and UML diagrams, interface definitions, deployment views, Architecture Decision Records) and support lifecycle consistency through development to operations.

Key Requirements

  • •Min. 5 years of professional experience in software architecture, systems design, or technical leadership roles for distributed, cloud-native, embedded, or edge computing systems.
  • •Strong systems-thinking and the ability to decompose complex problems into clear solutions with boundaries, interfaces, subsystems, and interactions.
  • •Proven experience designing complex distributed systems with fault tolerance, asynchronous communication, service discovery, workload management, data consistency, resilience, and disconnected operations.
  • •Experience with cloud-native and container-based platforms and designing for resource-constrained environments (CPU, memory, storage, bandwidth, power, startup time, runtime footprint).
  • •Strong programming experience in Go and Python (Rust or another memory-safe systems language valued).
