Key Responsibilities

  • •Comply with safety rules and regulations and be aware of plant safety hazards.
  • •Conduct chemical sampling and analyses, ensuring chemical parameters remain within limits and maintaining related records.
  • •Perform quality inspection of chemicals received and prepare shift log summaries and monthly reports.
  • •Coordinate with Shift Charge Engineer/Supervisor for unit start-up, shutdown, and normal running to maintain chemistry in control.
  • •Support desalination plant acid cleaning and troubleshoot chemical dosing systems and laboratory equipment, including maintenance follow-ups.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (Master’s degree preferred).
  • •5+ years of experience in a related field.
  • •Awareness of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environment Management System principles.
  • •Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and hazard/aspect impact assessment.
  • •Experience with Power/Desalination operational activities and strong analytical and decision-making skills.
