Job Summary

Support Financial Advisors and Client Specialists by creating and refining financial plans and analyses for prospects and existing clients. Conduct ongoing research, provide education to advisors in group and individual settings, and help draft Baird Wealth Plan materials. Complete CFP prerequisites, sit for the CFP exam, and then work toward SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licensing within defined timelines, with training provided. Based in Kentucky with one day per week work-from-home flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

•Support Financial Advisors and Client Specialists with the creation of financial plans and analyses for prospects and existing clients.
•Provide research for client questions and ongoing education and support to Advisors and Client Specialists.
•Create and develop Baird Wealth Plan drafts and various financial analyses.
•Provide education to Financial Advisors in group settings and individually as needed.
•Complete CFP prerequisites, sit for the CFP exam, and then study for and pass the SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licensing exams while handling special projects as required.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a degree in an unrelated field with relevant work experience.
•Strong computational, mathematical, and analytical skills.
•Ability to complete CFP prerequisites and sit for the comprehensive CFP exam within the first two years of hire.
•Ability to study for and obtain the SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 exams after the CFP exam (with completion timeline requirements).
•Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with MoneyGuidePro or similar planning software is a plus.
