Key Responsibilities

  • •Create CNC-focused course materials, including PowerPoint, handouts, exams, and student assessments.
  • •Own, create, and edit training Engineering Masters (EMs) for machining training courses.
  • •Partner with subject matter experts to design training content across online, classroom, and shop-floor formats, including Okuma operation, programming, setup, tool selection, and safety.
  • •Lead on-the-job and self-paced training modules for Production and Engineering teams on Okuma mill-turns, mills, and lathes.
  • •Assess student performance using practical tests and written exams, and support training administration (enrollments, attendance, and performance tracking).

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •1+ years of experience as a technical/on-the-job trainer, conducting hands-on, instructor-led machining or CNC courses.
  • •Hands-on machine shop experience and strong knowledge of Okuma mill-turns, mills, and lathes.
  • •Experience programming and operating Okuma CNC systems, including G-code, M-code, tool offsets, and work coordinate systems.
