Job Summary

Configure, develop, integrate, test, and deploy SmartConnect capabilities using ThingWorx 10.x and SCPA. Implement remote-access and endpoint automation features, build access governance and auditable JIT privileged-access workflows, and integrate with Unity/Salesforce and enterprise identity providers. Translate user needs and Given/When/Then acceptance criteria into secure, scalable solutions, with thorough testing evidence, repeatable deployments, production support, and knowledge transfer.

Key Responsibilities

•Configure and build SCPA application components and ThingWorx entities (things, templates, shapes, data shapes, services/events/subscriptions, mashups, permissions/visibility, and deployment packages).
•Develop reusable ThingWorx services, UI components, extensions, and integration adapters following approved architecture and extension patterns.
•Implement and validate remote-access and endpoint capabilities (attended/unattended sessions, consent/session initiation/disconnect behavior, failure handling, notifications, and audit events).
•Create endpoint automation and systematic data workflows (file-watch/ingestion, duplicate prevention, retries, error handling, alerting/monitoring, filtering, privilege enforcement, and per-endpoint results).
•Support testing, deployments, and production operations; troubleshoot defects/integration issues; deliver documentation/runbooks and conduct knowledge-transfer sessions.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of hands-on ThingWorx development, configuration, implementation, or production-support experience.
•3–5 years of practical experience with ThingWorx 9.x/10.x.
•3+ years of Smart Connected Product Accelerator (SCPA) experience or comparable ThingWorx solution-building-block frameworks.
•3+ years hands-on with ThingWorx Composer, Mashup Builder, Things/Thing Templates, Thing Shapes/Data Shapes, services/events/subscriptions, and permissions/visibility/deployment packages.
•3+ years programming and integration experience with JavaScript, REST APIs, JSON, SQL, and PostgreSQL, plus API/data mapping, RBAC/visibility, authentication/authorization, and approval/audit workflows.
